Dr. Pranav Sathe is an accomplished Head and Neck Oncosurgeon with a strong foundation in maxillofacial surgery. During his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, he received extensive training in oral oncology, facial trauma, space infections, and other benign cysts and tumors of the jaw. He also gained significant experience in performing complex surgical procedures, including orthognathic surgeries, excision of benign cysts and tumors, and management of space infections. His expertise extends to minor surgical interventions, such as the surgical extraction of impacted teeth and the placement of dental implants.

Dr. Sathe further specialized through a prestigious fellowship in Head and Neck Oncology at Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai, India. During this fellowship, he received exhaustive training and hands-on experience in all aspects of head and neck oncology, with a particular focus on oral oncology, reconstructive surgery, and salivary gland tumors. Additionally, he contributed to impactful research projects focusing on oral cancer prevention and outcomes, including studies on cancers of the hypopharynx and esophagus. He actively participated in an oral cancer screening trial, conducting door-to-door screenings in high-risk populations in rural Ratnagiri, where he also organized tobacco cessation workshops to promote cancer prevention.

Post-fellowship, Dr. Sathe served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Head and Neck Oncology at MPMMCC, Varanasi, a unit of Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. During his tenure, he not only successfully performed challenging surgeries but also guided budding surgeons in the science of oncology. He has published various studies in national and international journals.

An active member of the Federation of Head and Neck Oncology (FHNO), the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (AOMSI), and the Dental Council of India (DCI), Dr. Pranav Sathe continues to contribute to his field through clinical excellence, research, and dedication to advancing cancer prevention and treatment strategies.
